Privacy Policy

SKVALLR is a party game. Played on one phone it collects nothing at all. Online rooms are the only part that sends anything anywhere, and this policy explains exactly what.

What we collect

There is no account to create, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. We collect nothing while you play offline by passing the phone around.

If you choose to play an online room, the following is stored on Google Firebase so the other players in your room can see it:

Online play is entirely optional, and rooms are private: the four-letter code is the only way in, and there is no matchmaking with strangers.

Reporting and blocking

Anyone in an online room can be reported or blocked by tapping their face. Blocking is entirely local: the list of people you have blocked never leaves your phone, and the person you blocked is never told.

Reporting is not local. When you report somebody we receive a copy of what you are reporting, so that we can actually act on it: the reported player's display name and photo, the reason you picked, the room code, and the anonymous IDs of both of you. That copy is stored separately from the room and outlives it — the room itself is deleted within 24 hours, and a report we can no longer look at would be worthless. Only we can read reports; no other player can read them, not even the person who filed one. We delete each report once it has been reviewed, and within 90 days at the latest.

What stays on your phone

The app saves a small amount of data locally so the game remembers your setup between sessions:

This never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it. You can also clear it from within the app in Settings.

Children

SKVALLR is for adults only and is not directed at children. The app asks for your year of birth before any content is shown. We do not store that year — only the yes/no result of the check.

Purchases

If you subscribe to SKVALLR+, the payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your card or payment details. We use RevenueCat to keep track of whether your subscription is active, which means RevenueCat holds a record of the purchase against the anonymous ID described above.

Deleting your data

Most SKVALLR data deletes itself without you doing anything:

To have your purchase record erased, email voidsystemsdev@gmail.com with the subject Delete my SKVALLR data, sent from the email address on the Google account you bought with, or quoting the Google Play order ID from your receipt. We delete the record within 30 days and email you to confirm. Cancelling first is worth doing, as deleting the record ends your access to the paid card packs.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top.
